1. Koziar’s Christmas Village

Koziar’s Christmas Village is the premier Christmas light spectacular. They opened in November and are celebrating their 73rd season. As you drive along the darkened countryside and see your kids scream when they catch sight of the light-up Christmas village, you will know you are at the right place. Koziar’s boasts over a million lights in addition to several attractions within the Christmas village, including Santa's Post Office, a Kissing Bridge, and an old fashioned bakery shop where you can warm up with hot chocolate and snacks. No Christmas lights trip is complete without Santa, so be sure to stop into Santa's Headquarters to get your picture and tell him your Christmas Wish! No wonder they have been providing Christmas cheer since 1948.

2. Easton Peace Candle

The candle has stood as a beacon of peace for all religions and denominations since 1951. Every November, the candle is erected around the Soldiers' & Sailors' Monument in Easton's Centre Square. The candle is lit over Thanksgiving weekend, where it shines all holiday season. There is nothing like walking around downtown Easton's shops and restaurants during the holidays under the glow of the historic candle. The candle stands tall at 106 feet and is considered the largest non-wax candle in the U.S. Holidays in Easton are fun, as Easton has a rich Christmas tradition and is believed to be the home to the first-ever Christmas tree. While you are there, be sure to check out Easton's winter village, which features open-air huts set up for local retailers along with a 40x60 outdoor ice skating rink.

3. Lights in the Parkway

This spectacular drive-through light display is an Allentown Tradition for over 20 years now. One of Allentown's favorite parks, "Lehigh Park," gets transformed into a mile-long winter wonderland of lights. Enjoy the light displays from the comfort and warmth of your car and with the whole family! The lights typically run from the end of November through December. If you are lucky enough to come on the right night, you might even get a glimpse of Santa himself.

4. Lehigh Valley Zoo Winter Lights Spectacular

The Lehigh Valley Zoo has been Wowing Lehigh Valley residents the past few holiday seasons by Transforming the zoo into a winter light spectacular. The event features over 1.2 million lights and animated displays. They offer character displays of many children's favorites, including Santa, The Grinch, Woody, Buzz, Elsa, and Olaf, to name a few. The walk around the park is a nice treat for kids and adults alike. Be sure to stop along the way and cuddle up at one of their beautiful outdoor fire pits and enjoy some s’mores and hot chocolate. The event runs from mid-November to the beginning of January.

5. Lights in Greenawalds

Located on Greenwalds Ave in South Whitehall Twp, Lights in Greenwalds is a creative display thanks in part to the holiday spirit of the owner Mike Yellak. The display has been running since 2016 and is completely free for everyone. The goal behind Lights in Greenwalds is to bring holiday cheer to all! There are several thousand lights set up for your enjoyment, along with animations, light shows, Christmas music, and their famous long-lit tunnel, which you get to walkthrough. This local gem is unlike any other, even offering free hot chocolate, popcorn, and candy. They are 100% donation-supported, so go check them out and share the joy!
