Finding a top-notch dining experience in the Lehigh Valley isn’t hard—especially if you’re looking for an incredible steak! We’re spoiled with several options for steakhouses, with everything from family-centered dining experiences to more upscale, 5-star affairs.

In addition to premium meats, the steakhouses in our region offer a wide range of fresh seafood dishes, award-winning hamburgers, delectable dessert menus, fine wine lists, and more!

These restaurants come highly recommended by Lehigh Valley residents themselves:

1. The Hamilton Kitchen & Bar

The Hamilton Kitchen & Bar is downtown Allentown’s classic urban American restaurant. Located at Seventh and Hamilton streets, The Hamilton will take you back to the days of the public house, where both locals and visitors would gather for a heartwarming, good meal, great conversation, and flowing libations.

Located at 645 Hamilton Street in Allentown.

2. Blue Grillhouse

"The Blue Grillhouse is a dining experience, not just a restaurant. Our steak was presented perfectly prepared and served. The staff, very professional but friendly and helpful too. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable.  When we left we could hardly believe we spent two and a half enjoyable hours there."

Located at 4431 Easton Avenue in Bethlehem.

3. Prime Steakhouse

"Consider us your friendly neighborhood steakhouse, where our family welcomes yours. We believe that details matter, whether we’re preparing a premium-cut steak, fresh and naturally-aged, or one of our carefully-crafted seafood, chicken or pasta dishes. And as with our own family, our goal is to create the best dining experience for you; from catching the game in our bar or lounge, to hosting that special private party, your satisfaction matters most. Great food. Great friends and family."

4. Emeril's Chop House

"We were treated like ROYALTY from the moment we arrived until we left. Our waiter Jeremy S. really made the night a memorable experience! My girlfriend & I were celebrating our anniversary. The food and the service were the best we ever had ANYWHERE !!! Thanks again to our WAITER JEREMY S." -Shawn

5. Apollo Grill

The Apollo Grill opened in February 1999 with the idea that dining with us should be a fun and memorable experience. Our extensive menu includes 30+ appetizers, allowing our guests the opportunity to share and graze. We have something for everyone, whether you are looking for a filet mignon and a great bottle of wine or a burger paired with a unique craft brew! We strive to offer a complete experience with friendly, professional service, and terrific food.

Located at 85 West Broad Street in Bethlehem.

5. Bolete

"We love the cuisine at Bolete, we've been going for years. And just when we thought it was just about the best anywhere in the region (we're from the Philadelphia area), it got even BETTER. The creativity never disappoints for both the food and the cocktails. (The scallops are my favorite). Anything you select on the menu will be a good choice. My dining companion is a foodie who keeps up with all the chefs and their skills in the area, and he says, "this guy's (chef) amazing. His talent just keeps getting better and better." If this place is a local secret, it should be let out."

Located at  1801 Broadway in Bethlehem.

6. The Dime Restaurant & Bar

"My husband and I had dinner last night for his birthday. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We had a wonderful experience. What a great dinner before the hockey game. Looking forward to going back for a fun night out. Thank you to Mary for bringing my husband his dessert with a candle for his birthday."

Located at  12 N. 7th Street in Allentown.

7. The Bayou Southern Kitchen & Bar

"The Bayou has a large variety of awesome food at all different price points. Great restaurant to share different plates. Their drinks are nice and the beer selection is good. There's hidden outdoor seating with heaters in the back. Been going for years since they opened. Definitely call and make a reservation because they can get pretty full at times."

Located at  702 Hawthorne Road in Bethlehem.
